01Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Sale govern access to the Rhinos Research Supply website and purchases made through it. By placing an order, you acknowledge the terms in effect at checkout, including the Research Use Policy and other policies referenced here. If you disagree with any requirement, do not order. These terms do not eliminate protections that applicable law makes nonwaivable.
02Nature of the Products
Products are marketed exclusively as laboratory research materials for lawful analytical and scientific work. They are not marketed for use in or on humans or animals, and are not intended as drugs, supplements, food, cosmetics, or veterinary treatments. A research-use designation does not itself establish that any particular product may legally be sold, purchased, or used.
03Eligibility and Customer Accounts
Purchasers must be at least 21 years old and have a lawful research purpose. Shopify authenticates accounts by sending a one-time verification code to the email supplied by the customer. Verification confirms access to an email address, not age, institutional affiliation, or researcher credentials. We may request additional information, refuse an account or order, or limit service where lawful and appropriate.
04Permitted Research Use
Customers may use purchased materials only for lawful research consistent with applicable rules, appropriate institutional oversight, and the product’s characteristics. Customers must not use materials for human or animal administration, consumption, self-experimentation, compounding for patients, or clinical purposes. We do not supply dosing, administration, or treatment advice.
05Prohibited Activities
Customers must not misrepresent their eligibility or intended use; purchase on behalf of an undisclosed prohibited user; divert materials to unlawful uses; or use the website to engage in fraud, impersonation, or other illegal activity. We may investigate suspicious transactions and cooperate with lawful requests from authorities.
06Resale and Redistribution
Unless Rhinos Research Supply expressly agrees in writing, products are supplied to the original purchasing research customer and may not be relabeled, repackaged, marketed for human or animal use, or redistributed. Any authorized transfer remains subject to applicable laws, packaging rules, and safety obligations.
07Legal and Regulatory Compliance
The purchaser is responsible for checking federal, Georgia, destination-state, local, and other applicable rules before ordering. Laws and restrictions differ by compound and intended activity. We may restrict products or destinations, request compliance documentation, or cancel orders where lawful fulfillment cannot be established. Nothing in these terms authorizes otherwise unlawful activity.
08Product Descriptions and Documentation
We aim to provide accurate descriptions, specifications, and available batch documentation. Images may be illustrative. Any certificate of analysis or laboratory result applies only to the specified sample, batch, methods, and date, and does not establish suitability for a particular use. Contact us before purchasing if documentation is essential to your project.
09Prices and Availability
Prices are displayed in US dollars unless stated otherwise. Prices, availability, and promotional offers may change without notice. Inventory displayed online can be inaccurate because of timing or technical errors. Applicable shipping charges and taxes will be presented during checkout where supported.
10Order Submission and Acceptance
Submitting an order is a request to purchase and does not guarantee acceptance. We may decline, limit, or cancel an order for stock shortages, errors, suspected fraud, regulatory concerns, or other legitimate reasons. If we cancel an order after collecting payment, we will address the payment according to the payment provider’s rules and applicable law.
11Payment Authorization
By submitting payment, you represent that you are authorized to use the payment method and that the billing information is accurate. Payment processing may involve independent providers whose terms and eligibility restrictions also apply. Do not send payment outside the methods explicitly offered at checkout.
12Taxes and Charges
The customer is responsible for applicable sales, use, import, and similar taxes, except where law requires us to collect or remit them. Any customs duties or destination-specific fees are the customer’s responsibility unless expressly stated otherwise before purchase.
13Shipping and Delivery
Shipping methods, destinations, cutoff times, and estimated delivery windows are described in our Shipping Policy or at checkout. Transit estimates are not guarantees. Orders may be delayed by stock, weather, carriers, screening, or legal restrictions. Customers must supply an accurate and deliverable shipping address.
14Risk of Loss and Shipment Problems
Responsibility for loss or damage is determined by applicable law and the shipping terms disclosed at checkout. Please notify support promptly if a package is damaged, missing, or delivered incorrectly, and retain photographs and packaging where possible. We will review claims under our published policies and applicable law.
15Returns, Refunds, and Cancellations
Our posted Refund Policy explains eligibility, time limits, and procedures for returns, refunds, and cancellations. Do not return laboratory materials without receiving instructions from support. Nothing in this section limits statutory refund or consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.
16Safe Handling, Storage, and Disposal
The purchaser must assess hazards and use qualified personnel, suitable facilities, protective equipment, secure storage, and legally compliant disposal procedures. Follow relevant safety data, institutional protocols, and transport requirements. We do not provide instructions for administering materials to people or animals.
17No Medical or Veterinary Advice
Website content, customer support, descriptions, and educational material are not medical, veterinary, or pharmaceutical advice. They do not establish efficacy, safety for consumption, regulatory approval, or fitness for diagnosis or treatment. Consult appropriate licensed professionals and regulatory resources for matters within their expertise.
18Limited Warranties and Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by applicable law, product information and website services are provided without a promise of a particular experimental outcome or fitness for an undisclosed application. Any express written warranty or mandatory legal warranty remains effective according to its terms. We do not disclaim rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
19Limitation of Liability
To the extent allowed by law, Rhinos Research Supply is not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from unauthorized use, improper handling, storage failures, or misuse. Any limitation is subject to applicable law and does not exclude liability for conduct or rights that cannot legally be limited.
20Website Content and Intellectual Property
The Rhinos Research Supply name, site design, graphics, and original content may be protected by intellectual-property laws. You may use the website for legitimate shopping and research information, but may not copy or commercially exploit protected content without permission or another lawful basis.
21Privacy, Security, and Communications
Our Privacy Policy describes how personal information is handled. Shopify operates customer email-code authentication. The theme’s research-use checkboxes are currently a front-end acknowledgment step and are not independently stored as acceptance records in Shopify customer profiles. Do not assume that registration alone verifies researcher qualifications. Contact support for account or privacy questions.
22Governing Law and Disputes
Except where mandatory law provides otherwise, these terms are interpreted under applicable Georgia law. Any dispute-resolution or venue requirement must be evaluated under applicable law; this policy does not impose arbitration or waive court rights without an appropriate, separately reviewed agreement.
23Changes, Severability, and Contact
We may revise these Terms of Sale by posting an updated version. The terms in effect when an order is placed generally govern that order, subject to applicable law. 01What We Supply
Rhinos Research Supply offers laboratory research materials for lawful analytical, reference, and scientific activities. Product listings may describe identity, nominal quantity, and available lot documentation. Purchasers should review those details before ordering and request clarification if their research requires additional specifications. Availability of a product does not mean every research activity involving it is legally permitted.
02What Research Compounds Are Not
Products are not sold for human or animal consumption, injection, administration, self-experimentation, diagnosis, prevention, treatment, or cure of disease. They are not offered as dietary supplements, food ingredients, cosmetics, or veterinary products. No product description, research discussion, or analytical result should be understood as medical or veterinary guidance. A label stating “research use only” does not itself resolve a product’s regulatory classification.
03Who May Purchase
Purchasers must be at least 21 years old, have a lawful research purpose, and be able to comply with applicable requirements. The Researcher Sign Up page asks visitors to affirm age, research-only intent, and acceptance of the applicable policies. Shopify’s email-code sign-in verifies access to an email address but does not verify identity, age, research credentials, or institutional affiliation. At present the theme does not save individual checkbox selections, acceptance timestamps, IP addresses, or browser details as customer records. We may request appropriate additional information and decline or cancel orders when necessary.
04Handling Is the Purchaser’s Responsibility
Purchasers are responsible for evaluating hazards and ensuring that qualified personnel handle, store, transport, and dispose of materials in suitable facilities. Follow applicable safety documentation, institutional procedures, labeling rules, personal protective equipment requirements, and environmental regulations. Secure materials against unauthorized access and take appropriate precautions against contamination or exposure. Rhinos Research Supply does not provide preparation or administration instructions for use in humans or animals.
05Compliance With Law
Research-material regulations can differ across federal, state, local, and international jurisdictions and can vary by compound, destination, and intended activity. The purchaser must determine whether ordering, receiving, possessing, transferring, and using each material is lawful. We may limit shipment destinations, request documentation, or decline fulfillment where compliance cannot reasonably be established. This policy is not a substitute for legal or regulatory advice and does not override mandatory legal requirements.
